At Modern Art Dubai, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to ensure that every artwork you receive meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, whilst ensuring we all contribute to the sustainability of our environment. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our returns and refunds policy below.
- Return Eligibility
- We accept returns on items that are damaged during shipping or that have significant defects in craftsmanship.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
- Custom or personalized artwork, including commissioned pieces, are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Return Timeframe
- To request a return, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your artwork.
- After 7 days, we can no longer accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests.
- How to Initiate a Return
- To initiate a return, please email us at support@modernart.ae with your order number, a description of the issue, photographs and videos of the damaged or defective artwork.
- Once we receive your return request, we will review the details and provide instructions on how to return the item if eligible.
- Please do not return the item without receiving confirmation from our team, as we cannot process unauthorized returns.
- Return Shipping
- For returns of damaged or defective items, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
- You are responsible for ensuring the artwork is carefully repackaged and returned to us using a trackable shipping method. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it is not tracked.
- If we do not find any defects or damage upon receiving the item, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
- Non-Refundable Items
- Custom or Commissioned Artwork: Due to the personalized nature of custom pieces, they cannot be returned or refunded unless damaged in transit.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards purchased from our website are non-refundable.
- Exchanges
- We only replace items if they are damaged or defective. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us at support@modernart.ae with details and photos of the damaged product.
- Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the item is no longer available, you will be offered a refund or the option to choose another artwork of equal value.
- Cost of shipping in case of all exchanges will need to be paid by the customer, unless the issue relates to a fault of ours.
- Refund Delays or Issues
- If you haven’t received a refund within the expected timeframe, please first check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@modernart.ae, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.
- Damaged or Lost Items During Return
- We are not responsible for items that are damaged or lost in transit when returning artwork. Please ensure the item is packaged securely and consider using a shipping method with insurance and tracking.
- Changes to the Returns & Refunds Policy
- We reserve the right to modify this Returns & Refunds Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting.
